MISSION OF THE CHURCH
VISION:
To reach,
mobilize and equip 3000 souls by 2007 to carry the Gospel of
Jesus Christ to the world.
MISSION:
Matthew 28:19-20
“19Go
ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching
them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and,
lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
Amen.”
PURPOSE:
Our primary
objective is to shine the light into the region of darkness to
illuminate a path for someone to find their way to the Glorious
Light of Jesus Christ. We purpose to create a mobile lay
army for the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. We purpose to
restore hope in those who have lost hope in the faith. We
purpose to administer encouragement, healing, and direction for
the Body of Christ.
Matthew
4:13-16
“13And
leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon
the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim: 14That
it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet,
saying, 15The land of Zabulon, and the land of
Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee
of the Gentiles; 16The people which sat in darkness
saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow
of death light is sprung up. 17From that time Jesus
began to preach, and to say, Repent:
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Luke 1:77-78
“77To
give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of
their sins, 78Through the tender mercy of our God;
whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, 79To
give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow
of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
CORE
VALUES:
We believe in the
Holy Bible (Canon) in its entirety and that it was written by
men who were inspired by God through the Holy Spirit. We
believe in the Trinity. We believe that everything originates
from God the Father. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of
God manifested in the flesh, our savior who died on the cross at
Calvary and rose on the third day, and our redeemer and mediator
who ascended to the Father to forever plead our case. We
believe that the Holy Spirit was released to dwell in every man
that received Him on the day of Pentecost as mentioned in the
book of Acts. We believe in living a holy life as we are led by
the Holy Spirit through the written and spoken Word. Not
conforming to the ways of the world but, being transformed by
the renewing of our minds. We believe in training and
developing people to become disciples for the mission and
purpose given to us by Jesus and the Holy Spirit from God. We
believe that we will be a part of the last day church that will
be caught up to meet Jesus Christ when He returns.
